What is a Life Coach?
A Life Coach is someone who is qualified to support, encourage, challenge and motivate you to achieve your goals. A Coach focuses on exactly what YOU want to achieve. We are good listeners, that can pick up from your voice or expressions what you really want and will facilitate you to take action to move yourself toward your goal. We will help you celebrate your successes and help you overcome obstacles; identify your weaknesses and strengths and enable you to move forward at a greater pace than you could achieve on your own, with the ultimate aim of you achieving your goals and discovering a more happy, content life.
Who are your clients?
Anyone! From my experience every type of individual, young or old, male or female, will come to me for coaching. People who want more happiness, contentment, help with an everyday issue such as time management and organizational skills; someone looking to build their confidence and self-esteem or trying to create a healthier lifestyle through nutrition and exercise, and many more everyday scenarios that can cause stress or uneasiness. My clients are individuals who realize that they will stay focused and reach their goals quicker with the support of a Life Coach.
Here is a short list of my clients:
- A young woman who was recently divorced and searching for a new life, a more fulfilling life
- Two middle-aged women who were interested in losing weight and getting into better shape
- An unemployed young man trying to decide on a career change

How many coaching sessions will I need?
This depends on what you want to achieve through coaching. Most clients come to me with a life changing goal in mind. For the coach to achieve this, we explore smaller goals that need to be achieved each session, to move closer to the overall goal. For some of my clients it may take as little as 4 – 6 sessions; for others it will take more time. Although, I’ve already coached only 3 sessions and my client was happily satisfied. It is a very personal decision which is based on your individual goal.
Where does the Coaching take place?
Most of my coaching is over the phone. This has been the most convenient way to fit coaching into my client’s busy schedules. When coaching on the phone, the client should find a quiet room with no distractions. I also do face-to-face coaching, meeting at a quiet coffee shop or Library. I also started ‘walk and talk’. I meet my client somewhere and we do just that….. walk and talk! I will be starting Skype this fall.
What are the costs?
Most coaching costs about the same as seeing any health professional;however, at this time, my prices are $35.00/session; $125/4 sessions; $180/6 sessions; Full-time students, $30.00/session.
Payment is check or cash.
This is a small price to pay for the life changing experience that you desire.
